We're a startup that built Printerhive because we needed a better way to manage multiple Bambu Lab 3D printers (and soon Klipper printers), especially for repeating jobs. If you run multiple printers, print the same models often, or just want to save time and boost efficiency, Printerhive is for you.
Why is Printerhive different?
- Raspberry Pi as a security gateway: Each printer (or group) connects through a Raspberry Pi on the local network. Printers stay in LAN mode and never send data anywhere except our secure cloud server, which communicates with your printers to fetch jobs and sync status. This keeps your print data private and secure.
- Locations: Manage printers across different sites (workshop, office, store, etc.), each with its own Raspberry Pi. Printers can be on different networks as long as the Pi has internet access, and you still control everything from one interface.
- Bulk actions: Preheat your entire farm, control lighting or trigger other actions on all printers at once. More bulk actions are coming soon!
- Real-time monitoring: See print status, temperatures, errors and live camera feeds for all printers at a glance.
- Intelligent queue & scheduling: Plan, prioritize and automate repeat jobs.
- Automations: Lighting automation or Swap-mod is just the start. More automations are on the way.

Your printers always stay in LAN mode on your local network-our Raspberry Pi client is the only component that communicates with our cloud, and it does so one-way only. This means you never have to expose your printers or your local network to the internet, which is something many companies require for peace of mind.
We’re also committed to rapid development: we ship weekly updates with new features and improvements. Right now, we’re working on implementing H2D, which will let us support the entire Bambu Lab lineup, and Klipper printer management is coming very soon.
