Presidency Project

Hey Everyone! A few days ago, I hacked together "Presidency Project" (https://twitter.com/presproject2017) after realizing how many documents the White House Briefing Room releases daily. In an effort to stay engaged and informed, I built a scraper to check WhiteHouse.gov for new releases every 10 minutes and tweet new ones as soon as they became available. By turning on notifications for this account, I'm essentially getting push notifications right from the White House. I'm not as politically active, or in some cases, as informed, as I should be. I built "Presidency Project" knowing that even if I was the only follower on this account, the ability to get real time updates would still be worth it, so I hope that the many others in the exact same position I'm in find value in it as well.
