Working on the voice stuff for Prelulu right now. One thing I really want to build next is a late-night ASMR mode. Basically your favorite character whispering bedtime stories or just chatting softly over rain sounds, without breaking character. Would anyone actually use this to fall asleep, or is that just me?

Most Al story apps keep the character behind a text box, so seeing them face to face does change how the story feels. would anyone like the horror version of this?

Hi everyone, one of the builders behind Prelulu. We’re cooking a new idea next: a galgame-style story mode with him or her. Branching routes, choices that actually matter, and scenes that feel like you’re living the plot together, not just chatting. Still early, but I’d love to hear if that sounds fun to you.

My bet is that the first breakout in real-time AI video will come from the application side, from experiences people love enough to keep coming back to.
Prelulu is how we’re testing that belief. Roleplaying with a character puts the technology to work immediately: can they respond naturally, handle an interruption, and keep you immersed in the story? Those interactions tell us what the models need to do better.
As we learn, we want to build and refine models around those needs: better timing, more expressive delivery, and more consistent characters. The application gives our model work a direction.
We also build realtimeavatar.ai, which powers Prelulu’s calls, so we can improve the experience across the stack.

In a video call, you’re watching their face while they answer. You hear how they say it. You might come in ready to argue, then find yourself asking a softer question. Or pressing them harder.
We want you to feel seen, heard, and understood in those emotionally charged moments, like you’re really there with the character. That’s what we care about in video roleplay. Do their voice and expression fit the moment? Does it feel like they’re paying attention to you? We’re continually refining the expressions, timing, and conversations with your feedback.
Today, you can discover or create a character and roleplay through chat or live video. Longer term, we want the world around the character to evolve with the story, too.
