Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Daniel, the maker of Potwise.
I kept killing plants by watering every Sunday whether they needed it or not. The fix that actually works is boring: check the soil first. Potwise is built around that. For each plant you do a quick check (dry / slightly moist / wet), and it decides when to check that plant again. A monstera in a sunny window and one in a dark corner end up on different rhythms without you setting anything.
What's in it today: a plant log, soil-check-based timing, and free care guides for monstera, snake plant, pothos and peace lily. It's a web app you can install from the browser, it works offline, and it has a free plan (Plus is $10/month). You can also snap a photo to identify a plant, use Diagnose to find what's wrong and how to fix it, and ask questions in our early community for plant parents.
I'd love feedback on one thing in particular: does the soil-check step feel quick enough to do every time, or would you skip it? Brutal honesty welcome.
