This honestly feels like a total scam for $30 with IAP, using "Artificial Intelligence" as a buzzword to sell the app. More information is necessary, especially with reviews that look like incentivized-for-5star.
Hashtags are just randomly picked and aren't relevant per photo? Does it pick based on which of your photos will reach 'Top Post'? Because it's not really relevant how popular a hashtag is if you're going to get flooded to the bottom of the page. The likes and followers you receive from these hashtags are also going to be largely bots that will un-follow you a few days later. Does it track this as well?
@nicksmithr yeah would definitely like to know more about that "AI" involved. I'm actually currently working on an app that is similar to this called SmartHash, and attributing likes and comments just on hashtags and timeframe is a poor algorithm to use. You def need to attribute following count and other factors that could affect the engagement. It's tough, but it can be done with regression analysis, which is what I'm using for my app. So I'd really like to know what the "AI" behind this is, to see if it's really optimized.
Hmmmm. I'm the creator of Dehaze and Focalmark (might see them on the right :) ) and it's awesome to see someone else come into the space.
Think it's a little wrong to charge this kinda money for open access data (also might want to check with Insta's ToS on doing so and also your use of Instagram's brand assets for the app screenshots, they won't like that). But looks like a cool idea, would love to see how the tags are being created.
I'd like to give it a try even though I'd like to know it works before I buy given the price. A question allways with AI products is what does the AI bring in value to the product? Does it analyze the post in any way to select the best hashtags or is it working to find optimal posting time with the audience hashtags?
@mikaellowgren Funny thing there is a pro option as IAP for free. Why not just have a free version with one post per month or less, then a pro option in IAP?
When I unlock the pro, it still tells me to go pro if I wan't to post more then one post (even if I just have one post).
The app recommends me to post in a few hours, so I'll get back with my thoughts on that. Hope I get a reminder when to post :-)
@mikaellowgren I've been using it for a few post now, and think it's good. I get the likes as promised 😄
However some bugs to fix. I manage to post from the app when pressing a notification, however I need to first copy the hashtags I want and then do the post. Well, looking forward to see this app evolve, thanks!

So instead of coming up with own branding they rip off Tapbots? I won't even try this app because of that. They're trying to deceive people into thinking it's made by Tapbots (makes of Tweetbot, Pastebot etc). Shitty tactics.
@xstex actually we were the pioneers. We made an application for windows , called BestInstaBot for Instagram back in 2011. This name is related with that.
Based on the Insta API access requirements, I assume that this only generates the optimal posting times based on your *own* past posts, not your followers'. Doesn't that mean the times will be inaccurate for people who have unknowingly been posting at bad times previously?
@byjacksolomon actually you can't decide whether if a follower is online on Instagram just by their posting time. Because a lot of users just browse on IG but don't post anything.

The name of this app and the logo strongly suggest that this is a Tapbots app. As a consumer, I was genuinely confused to see this is not a Tapbots product. See: http://tapbots.com/
@eschatonik if there is some company that has a similar logo or use the term "bot " it's purely by coincidence. We do not intended to copy and other app. I've never even seen this company logo before. In a tech world where thousands of products come out everyday , some could look similar 😬

@xstex I did not not such thing even existed. I have seen tweetbot on the App Store, but never seen their company logo until you mentioned here. Sure the logo may look a bit similar but we did not wanted to follow or copy anybody. Please don't say such things based on just the look of the logo and the name "bot" .
