I didn't set out to build a remote desktop tool. I started with one idea: control the mouse cursor using a phone's gyroscope. That's it. But once I started, features kept pulling me in — screen mirroring, file manager, macros, task manager, a full gaming controller editor. The gyroscope is still there, but it became just one feature among many I never planned for. PortDesk runs entirely on your local network. No accounts, no cloud, no data leaving your router. You get screen viewing, touch-based mouse control, and full keyboard support — without giving anything up in privacy. Everything runs from a single Python file. The client is one HTML file.
