Poptimum is a daily puzzle game about packing cute fridge magnets as tightly as possible. Every day brings a fresh set of colorful magnets and a new shape to fill. Drag, rotate, and arrange them to squeeze out every bit of empty space, then see how your solution stacks up against players around the world. Play once a day, improve your packing, and see how close you can get to the world’s best score.
About 10 years ago, when my oldest daughter was a baby, we used to play together with animal-shaped fridge magnets. To make it a little more interesting for myself, I started trying to pack all the magnets into the smallest possible shape. I remember thinking this could actually be a fun optimization game.
Fast-forward 10 years, and in the age of vibe coding, I finally decided to build it.
