Stick together. I’ve been building PopsicleBoat, a community site where people can join interest-based spaces, post what they’re making, and keep a portfolio organized by community. Right now it supports public/private posts, comments, likes, community pages, user profiles, role/admin tools, etc. It is meant to be a quieter community focused experience, so you can enjoy and post your content without the noise other online communities foster.
The idea came from wanting something quieter than a global feed. If someone posts in Art, Animation, Food, Writing, or Gaming, or any other community, their work lives inside that context, and other members can browse recent posts or view that person’s community-specific portfolio.
