Hi Product Hunt! I'm Piotr, an iOS engineer (and engineering manager) from Poland. I've spent years building apps for other companies - Poof is the first one shipped under my own name, which means that for once, every decision was mine. I spent that freedom on the decision this category refuses to make: no paywall ambush. Every photo cleaner I tried greeted me with a ~$6/week subscription before I could delete a single photo.
Poof's rules are simple: swiping is free, forever. Right keeps, left deletes, down means "later". Everything you remove lands in Poof's own trash first, so one wrong swipe never costs you a photo. All processing happens on your phone - no accounts, no trackers, nothing leaves the device.
We launched on the App Store a month ago, and I've spent that month shipping the whole roadmap I promised: v1.4 now has duplicate & similar photo detection, smart filters (blurry, dark, overexposed, old screenshots), video compression that frees space without deleting memories, Live Photo conversion, themes and widgets. Premium is a one-time Lifetime purchase or a fair yearly plan - there is no weekly plan, and there never will be.
