My wife Manar, my friend Mohamed, and I are growers ourselves. We have built DWC, NFT, and aeroponic systems, and we kept running into the same frustrating question: what went wrong?
Was it pH? EC? Water temperature? A pump? Heat? Humidity? Water leak? Our meters and paper notes helped, but they did not always help us understand the whole story of a grow cycle.
So we built Ponic Kit, a manual-first workspace (for now) for recording growing conditions, tests, crop actions, and history in one place.
What you can do today:
• Record pH, EC, water temperature, air temperature/humidity, water level, and notes • Keep a clearer history of each grow cycle • Review readings and context before deciding what to change • Start without buying hardware • Ask the optional AI assistant for ideas grounded in the history you choose to share; its answers are advisory, not a replacement for grower judgment.
Ponic Kit HTN is the optional hardware path we are building next. The software should be useful before sensors arrive.
Ponic Kit is free to try. We are especially looking for feedback from hydroponic growers, greenhouse operators, DIY builders, and people who have ever discovered a crop problem too late.
