I built Pommy because I struggled to find a Pomodoro timer that actually worked for me while I was studying computer science. Most of the existing apps were either too cluttered, missed key features, or locked basic functionality behind expensive subscriptions. I wanted something clean, distraction-free, and fair, so I made it myself. What makes Pommy different is its simplicity and focus. It has just what you need to stay in the zone, custom timers, focus streak tracking, and Live Activities, without overcomplicating things. For those who want more, the Pro upgrade is a one-time $4.99, not a subscription. I’m most proud of the fact that this is my first app on the App Store, and I built it as a Swift Student Challenge 2025 Distinguished Winner after being part of WWDC. The community really inspired me to build something thoughtful and user-first, and it’s been amazing to finally launch something that helps others focus just a little better.
