I just found this app today and lost a chunk of my day playing it, it is super well done and I cannot wait to see its continued growth, I already signed on for life and I am cheap lol I love that I get to be creative with my sentences and I can challenge myself as much or as little as I want to. Some peoples clues are really funny and it encourages me to not only think in Spanish, but to do so with creative flair because it engages my intense need to try and be funny or clever with my hints lol Check it out, there are many different price points including free.

Amazing app for practicing a language after having a little bit of an introduction. It helped me a lot making me more comfortable speaking a foreign language, without having to take an actual class.

I'm one of the Welsh learners on Polygloss - there are lots of us, many migrated from DuoLingo I think. It's dead easy to use, and 'addictive' but in a good way - there's no pressure, you just feel stimulated to keep using it, writing something in your target language to keep the conversations flowing (you earn a 'reward' if someone else appreciates your creativity). And it also feels good to pay back by helping those less fluent, if they make an error.

I have found out about Polygloss in 2020 while watching a youtube video about apps to learn English. I knew the app's idea was amazing when I heard it. Then, I downloaded it and started playing a lot, told all my friends about it. It is pretty easy to get hooked because the more you write the more you earn stars (the game environment works quite well). Also, the practice of vocabulary on the game made my English level go up significantly. Etiene is a humble founder that appreciates feedback from the users, so the game is always improving. I'm glad to see the project has evolved so much.

I love it. It covers language production, which most apps don't, but in bite sized pieces, which conversational apps don't have either. It can be as easy or difficult as I want, as it's up to me whether to use dictionaries and translation tools, suiting motivation and energy that vary day to day

This is an excellent app for learning and practising languages. It is very simple but also very effective and engaging. You work with other members of the growing Polygloss community to exchange short pieces of writing or short audio clips describing a simple image. You can practise a huge range of languages with the app, and you can also help out learners of any languages you speak at an advanced or native level. I find it works equally well with languages I know reasonably well as well as ones I’m just starting to learn. The app is fun to use and encourages you to be creative, so your language practice never feels like a chore. I’d really recommend it to anyone who is learning or practising a language.

The app's user-friendliness truly stands out; every aspect feels intuitive and welcoming. Using the app gives off a comforting vibe that adds to the experience. The dedication and hard work poured into its creation by @etiene_dalcol are palpable. A sincere thank you to Etiene 🙏 for this. Feeling inspired, I'm eager to get involved as a developer and contribute to this remarkable creation.🙂

A really interesting and different approach to supplement language learning compared to most of the apps out there. It helps users learn to create sentences in their target language in a fun and interesting way - getting to learn while exploring the language yourself and from other people.

I'm such a fuss about language learning apps but use this constantly, I find it the most useful for A2 and above, but this is where almost all other apps start to become less useful, so it's just a treasure to have found.

The UX is engaging, making the learning process a joyous journey. Features like guessing images add an interactive touch, making it my go-to platform for language practice.
