@samuel_simoes really impressive interface. My friends and I used to use PokerStars but their app is so difficult to use. One thought, is it possible to make adding on to players stacks a little more seamless? For example, player in cash game has 400 chips and wants to add on another 600. Right now it seems like I would have to go in and change their stack from 400 to 1000 but that can get screwed up if the player is currently in a hand or a hand ends and blinds are posted while i'm trying to make the adjustment. Perhaps there is a way to include an "add chips" button for players that would just add in a specified amount of chips at the start of the next hand. Just a thought, overall amazing site.

@liam_o_brien hi, nice to hear that you are liking! About the additions, I am working at this and it will probably land at Poker Now in the next weeks. You can follow it at: https://gitlab.com/poker-now/pok...

@samuel_simoes I should have known you were already working on it lol. The feature you posted in gitlab is exactly what i was thinking. Basically be able to add and then have any changes take effect at the start of the next hand. Looks awesome!
Been using it for a few months now and it's amazing. Fair play.
One question though, and I feel I already know the answer, but I was playing with some friends over the course of a few weeks and they commented that "flashy" hands were surprisingly common. We're talking multiple 4 of a kinds in the same match. Quite a lot of flushes too.
Are the hands completely random or is there some sort of weighting system going on in the background?

@sean_smyth Hi, nice to hear that you are liking! We have pretty recently a discussion about the hands at Gitlab https://gitlab.com/poker-now/pok... I invite you to read it. But summarizing: no, Poker Now doesn't do any kind of weighting, it uses Mersenne twister with random seeds.
Report
@sean_smyth I think this is merely a byproduct of the accelerated rate of play. This is much, much faster 1.5-2x than normal in person cash play

It's great. Although I would love a feature that would allow me to save time entering a blind schedule. Maybe a csv upload? or saved accounts?

@truckee_lynch1 a way to favorite a configuration to reuse is something that will land on Poker Now pretty soon! Thank you for the feedback!

@samuel_simoes, our poker group has grown because of the ease of using this platform and ability to host a game. Would it be possible to build in a spectator/ audience mode so that players that have been beat can see other players hands as they go head to head? Maybe an ability for the host player move player to that audience mode? I realize there is the complexity of players being able to cheat through this.

Hi @jennifer_chavez1, glad to hear that Poker Now is helping you with your home games. This spectator mode is something that is in discussion between the Poker Now community https://gitlab.com/poker-now/pok... and so far it has been pretty controversial, but if you can give your feedback there, would be interesting.

Hi, Poker Now is a new and independent poker platform. After the COVID-19 quarantine, we have a huge increase in popularity and since then I am working really hard to offer the best poker experience out there. The Poker Now development is completely open to anyone participate https://gitlab.com/poker-now/pok...

@samuel_simoes Is this open source now?
Report

@jjmerri not open source, what I mean with open development is because anyone can suggest and see what I am working on at the Gitlab. :D

I have been playing poker now with my friends throughout lockdown and now regularly later and the website is very easy to use and perfect for our needs. My only ask is that it can be updated to allow the options of no limits and Limit Texas Hold'em Poker, as we often get one person raises a very high amount to push out other people and it can get very frustraiting! Otherwise excellent.

@tim_atkinson awesome that you liked it! About other variants like limit NLH, this is something that will come in the next updates, stay tuned!
