Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built PoemForTwo because I wanted to give my partner something more meaningful than store-bought gifts. A poem that captures YOUR story — where you met, what you love about them — written in classical Chinese poetry style, with English translation so everyone can feel it.
It's $9.9 one-time, no subscription needed. You can generate a free preview first to see what it writes for you.
Would love your feedback! 🚀

Love the concept, especially the bilingual angle. One thing that would make this even better: let users pick the translation style, like a literal version and a more poetic one side by side, so it feels more thoughtful when gifted to a partner who might not read Chinese.

@esmanuratalarGreat suggestion! Having a literal version alongside a more poetic adaptation could make the gift much more meaningful, especially for couples where only one person reads Chinese. I'll work on adding that option.

Tried it with our five year anniversary story and the classical Chinese version actually rhymed properly, which surprised me. The English translation felt a bit stiff but the interpretation note tied everything together nicely.

@idemptb4Thanks for trying it! Glad the Chinese verse held up — the meter and rhyme are the hardest part to get right. You're spot on about the English translation, I'm working on making it flow more naturally while keeping it faithful. Any particular line felt off? Would love to make it better.

Love the bilingual concept, and the classical Chinese forms feel really authentic compared to typical AI love letters. One idea: let users add a short handwritten note or signature from both partners to print alongside the poem on the download, so it feels more like a keepsake card than a file.

@ekutbe72210That's a beautiful idea — a handwritten note section on the download. I'll add that. What else would make it feel more like a keepsake gift rather than just a file?
