Podsnapper turns long podcast episodes into concise text and audio summaries, so you can get the key ideas without listening to the full episode. Add a link from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or an RSS feed and choose from 30+ languages. Unlike tools that only create transcripts or written notes, Podsnapper also generates a listenable audio summary, making it easy to learn while commuting, exercising or working.

I'm Thomas, the founder of Podsnapper.
I built Podsnapper because I often saw interesting podcast episodes but didn’t have enough time to listen to them in full. Most tools only produce text, but I wanted something I could also listen to while exercising, commuting or working.
With Podsnapper, you can submit a podcast or video link, choose from 30+ languages, and receive both a written and audio summary. So basically you can transform a 3 hour podcast in English to a 10 min short version in Spanish or any other combination of the 30+ languages. Default is always English so you do not have to choose another language.
I’d really appreciate any feedback on the product, the summaries and what you’d like to see added next.
Love the idea of having an audio summary, that's genuinely useful for my commute. One thing that would make it way better for me is letting me pick a custom length like 5, 10, or 15 minutes instead of just one fixed version. Sometimes I want the quick hits and sometimes I want more depth, you know
@grkemtrkanhxfk Thanks Görkem! You can pick the summary length by clicking short, medium or long. The length of these is pretty much what you just wrote, the very exact audio length can vary depending on the episode, though, so it isn’t always exactly 5, 10, or 15 minutes. But its a good idea of making the target duration more explicit or even letting users choose a specific number of minutes. Definitely something I’ll consider adding!
