Software actually makes audio worse. Had trouble with it doing anything productive. Interface isn't bad but there are other platforms out there that actually work with much more success. Be careful of their 7 day trial because once it ends they lock you in for a full year. Zero chance of a rerun whether it works or not.
Great UI. An awesome free plan that allows audio podcasting without upgrading to a higher tier. However, it's a lottery if the recording will work in the end. So many failed recordings (often in the uploading and processing part), so now I feel that I need to use another way to do distance recording.
me being someone who was really reluctant to start a podcast. Podcastle has been a great space with all I need and want from a platform to help me on this journey. I enjoy the design, extra tools to help with cleaning up the audio and especially just having one place to plan, record, host, edit and publish episodes. It has allowed me to learn whilst getting a great product.
I love this software SO much. I am brand new to podcasting and I was able to figure it out within seconds. It is made amazingly well for newbies like me. I am very happy with this editing tool and would recommend it to everyone. Also btw I am now on episode 34 on my podcast, it just goes to show how easy they have made it for beginners like me. It makes it super easy for me to keep moving forward with my show.
Stay away from this nonsense. I just recorded a 50-minute podcast episode, only to have the entire effort destroyed because Podcastle sent the wrong messages indicating the files on both sides were uploaded when they weren't. Now the episode is destroyed, and I'm left having to explain that to my guest. Tried to contact Support, it doesn't seem to exist. Use something else by people who care.
UI is terrible - no easily accessible support. Customer service is horrible. Actually just filed an Attorney General report to the state of Delaware (where they're technically based, but they're actually all in Armenia from what I can tell so they probably rent an empty buildling in Middletown just to have a US "base") so who knows if it will actually result in anything. Highly recommend Murf.ai as an alternative.
