We built the app we wished existed.
Like so many parents, we found ourselves taking thousands of photos of family days out, muddy walks, beach adventures, playground discoveries, holidays and all those magical little moments in between. But over time, those memories started to disappear into endless camera rolls, buried somewhere deep in our phone galleries.
We wanted something different.
We, that is my wife Hannah and I, wanted a way to capture the stories behind the moments, not just the photos, but the adventures, the laughter, the funny things the kids said, the places we explored, the memories we never wanted to forget and also the moments we did not want to share on social media.
That's why we built PocketTreasures. A place for families to turn everyday adventures into lasting memories. A place where special moments don't get lost among thousands of screenshots and random photos. A place where children can one day look back and relive the incredible journey of growing up.
PocketTreasures was created from our own family life, for families just like ours. Because the years go by quickly, but the memories deserve a home.
Here's to more adventures, more discoveries, and more treasures worth remembering.
It would be great if you could add a simple collaborative option, like letting grandparents get read-only access through a shared family link with a passcode. Right now everything stays private on one device, but families often want close relatives to enjoy the memories too without making everything public.
Love how the memories default to private on your device first. That choice respects families and still makes sharing easy when you want to.
