PocketLedger started because I kept hearing small shop owners and freelancers describe the same problem: tracking who owes them money still means a paper notebook, memory, or scrolling through old WhatsApp messages. I'd rather it do one thing well than be a bloated accounting app. It's built primarily for markets like India, Brazil, and Indonesia where selling on credit is really common, but works anywhere.
