Hi I’m Mkhokheli, the maker of PocketCoded Java, based in South Africa.
Access to a laptop shouldn’t decide whether someone can start building software. I built PocketCoded Java to give learners and developers a Java workspace on the Android phone they already have.
You can write and run Java locally, manage projects, and work with code completion, an integrated terminal and Git.
The core Java workflow is designed for offline use. Optional AI assistance uses your own API key and requires internet; downloading dependencies also requires a connection.
