We built Plypad Files around a simple idea: accessing your files shouldn’t mean moving them somewhere else first.

Plypad Files is a free desktop app that lets you open a folder on your computer from another device’s browser. Your presentation, project archive or photo collection stays on your computer, and you can get to it from your phone, tablet or another laptop.

Here’s how it works:

1. Create a free account and install Plypad Files on your computer.

2. Choose a folder and link your computer to your account.

3. Sign in from another device’s browser and open your files.

You can browse,upload and download files,or download an entire folder as a ZIP.

Your computer connects directly to your browser over an encrypted connection. Plypad helps establish that connection, but doesn’t store your files or pass their contents through its infrastructure.

Set it up before you leave,and keep your computer awake and online with the app running.Transfer speed depends on your connection.
