I've always loved the feeling of discovering a word that captures something you couldn't quite express before. I wanted an app that honored that feeling - something that looked and felt like a well-made book, not a tech product.
So I built Plume. One word a day, set in serif type on a warm paper palette, with narrated pronunciation. Everything lives on your device - no account, no backend, nothing leaving your phone.
Built solo - React Native, SQLite, 5,400+ narrated audio clips, and a WidgetKit home screen widget. Designed like something you'd want to keep on your shelf.
