The hardest part of these viral AI image trends is usually not generating the image, it's figuring out which prompt actually works before the trend is already over. Having someone else keep up with that sounds much nicer than spending half an hour scrolling X or Reddit.
I also like that you don't try to turn everyone into a prompt engineer. sometimes people just want the result, not another thing to learn. Curious how quickly new trends usually make it into plipto. are we talking hours, days, or more like weekly updates? :)

We try to bring new trends to Plipto as quickly as possible, but quality always comes first. A trending style usually goes through a lot of prompt refinement, testing, and tuning before it's released.
Since trends often emerge in different countries and communities at different times, I also built a Request a Style feature. It helps users tell me what they want to see next and helps me discover regional or niche trends I might otherwise miss.
My goal is simple: make new AI photo trends available as fast as possible without making people worry about prompts. Thanks for the great question! 😊
Does the one-click style actually tweak based on my uploaded photo, or is it basically just slapping the same preset look on every image?
@takbug32958 Great question! It definitely adapts to your uploaded photo. Each style is designed to preserve the subject, composition, and important details while transforming the image into the selected style. We spend a lot of time refining and testing prompts so the result feels tailored to each photo, not like a generic filter applied to everything.
The preset style cards look really thoughtful — like you curated them around what people actually want to make instead of just dumping every option into a grid. That kind of restraint on the home screen is way more inviting than another endless scroller.

Rather than overwhelming people with hundreds of styles, I wanted Plipto to highlight the styles people are actually looking for. We'll keep adding new trends, but we'll always try to keep the experience simple and easy to navigate.
Does the free tier give you full access to all the styles, or are some locked behind a paid plan?
@ayewyec Great question! Right now, all styles are available to everyone—nothing is locked behind a paid plan. New users receive 2 free credits when they sign up, and Product Hunt users can use the code PH2026 to get 2 extra credits. If you need more, you can simply purchase additional credits—there's no subscription required. We want everyone to have access to the same styles, whether they're just trying Plipto or using it regularly.
So once I pick a style and upload my pic, does the output stay consistent across different photos or does each click give a fresh random result?

Plipto adapts the result based on your uploaded photo—its subject, background, lighting, and overall mood—so the output feels natural rather than applying the exact same transformation to every image. Since it's powered by generative AI, there can be small variations, but we've carefully refined each style to deliver consistent quality while respecting the uniqueness of every photo.
