A private, local-first study logbook for tracking books, articles, videos, and study sessions without accounts or noise. No ads, No AI, No distractions.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Pliny as a simple private study log for people who like learning on their own.
You can use it to track books, articles, videos, courses, or study sessions — without accounts, streaks, leaderboards, or social noise.
It’s free, open source, and local-first, so your data stays on your device.
I made this because I wanted a calmer way to see what I’ve been learning over time.
Would love to hear what you think :)
how does sync work if it’s local-first, do my logs stay on my device only or can I push them somewhere else?
How does the data storage actually work across devices if it's local-first and there's no account system?
the local-first approach without any accounts feels like exactly what a study log should be. love that there's no ai in the loop, just a clean place to actually track what you're learning.
