Pledgenomics

A paid economy for people creating and doing good.

Pledgenomics creates a micro-freelance economy for social entrepreneurs. We took the idea of doing good in the community, combined it with an all-or-nothing crowd-funding model and in-turn created a micro-freelance (gig) economy. We're sourcing economic opportunity from positive community impacts.

Hi Everyone, Our platform allows individuals to get paid for doing good. On the most basic level the platform has three (3) pillars: 1) Create: Individuals or organizations develop actionable, socially conscious tasks. 2) Pledge: Money is pledged to validate and develop the tasks. 3) Freelance: The tasks in-turn create micro-freelance gigs, paid for using pledges, which have a greater impact. The net result is the creation of micro-socially conscious economies. Ultimately, we're using social good to create economic opportunity and in turn using economic motives to further social good. For example, an individual can create a project to tutor under-privileged children, clean up the park, provide medical services for those in need, or really any other project imaginable. If the community finds this project valuable or worthwhile, it can accrue the financial pledges necessary to complete it. Simultaneously, individuals can apply to these projects as micro-freelancers. The pledged money is used to finance the freelancers, who in turn completes the project, creating a social impact. If the funding goal is never met or the project isn’t completed, then no money is ever transacted. Our purpose is to empower a community to self-identify and solve an unlimited number of micro-social causes, while simultaneously creating economic opportunity for itself. The platform works by strategically linking together each component in such a way that each party feels incentivized (whether intrinsic or extrinsically), to be involved. We’re aligning social and economic motives, using a modern day, technology driven approach. We believe there is no limit on the amount of actionable good a community can do to better itself. If we can prove that we can convert actionable good into a viable economic source, then we’ve tapped into a new and unlimited market of self-sustaining jobs. Thanks!
