We’d only realize we had exceeded our budget after the shopping was done and we were looking at two separate receipts. Most list apps are just digital scratchpads that don't account for real-world prices. I wanted to build a "financial co-pilot" that gives you visibility before you pay. The solution is the Universal Store Browser: Instead of guessing, you can browse any store’s actual site (Walmart, Costco, Publix, etc.) directly inside Plateful and add items with their live prices to a single list (solo or collab).
