Hey Product Hunt! 👋
We built PlannyMeals because I was tired of the same weekly routine: "What
should we eat?" -> random googling -> forgetting half the ingredients at the
store.
The idea is simple: One app that connects meal planning, recipes, and grocery shopping.
Here's what makes it different:
- Import recipes from anywhere – paste an Instagram/TikTok link, scan a photo,
or grab it from any website. AI extracts the recipe for you.
- Plan your week in seconds – drag recipes into your meal plan or let AI
generate one based on your preferences and nutrition goals.
- Smart grocery lists – one tap turns your meal plan into a shopping list,
grouped by category. With REWE integration you can even check prices and availability.
We're currently focused on the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) with
REWE as our first grocery partner, but the core planning features work everywhere.
Built with React Native (Expo) and Go on the backend.
Would love your feedback - what features would make this a must-have for you (for example - kcal tracking via photo?
Weekly meal plans in 3 minutes is a great promise if the shopping list is actually usable.

@karimbenkeroum thanks! It works especially well in Germany with our REWE integration (but also plain shopping lists are working great). We've put a lot of effort into making this feature truly reliable, and we're planning to expand to more countries and supermarkets with delivery services soon.

Importing recipes smoothly without scraping all the filler text from blog posts is one of the biggest challenges for meal planners. How robust is the parser when extracting ingredients from non standard web layouts? Turning those instantly into a smart shopping list is excellent.

@rivra_dev I'm using it myself and up to now it worked flawlessly :) Go ahead and give it a try, it does not require a paid subscription :)
