Another review platform. What are the main differences compared to competitors? What would be cool is to add subscribe for newsletters. Lately, page can be something like "shopping guide" by providing useful reviews for buyers. I like filters and various types of sorting. Well done :)

Differences are: - people get rewarded for writing reviews or adding things to the platform (rewards range from Amazon gift cards, etc. ) - each category has its own unique rating attributes - when you make an account you are able to curate your own followers and reviews and have your own review feed - we target niche market segments which are in need of reviews.

I believe PlanetRate is trying to tackle something that is becoming really problematic for small businesses. The platform is pretty well done but there are too many categories and criteria for the ratings in my opinion. I believe this will be able to provide businesses for much better feedback than the traditional reviewing system. Full disclosure, I have met these guys through Founder Institute, really driven and passionate. I believe they have found an interesting problem with reviews and ratings. I am not 100% sold on the current solution, but I had some insights on their longer term goals and it's really promising.
