My company has used this service a year ago and it worked well. The amount of money for the reservation $69 was put against the overall cost. This time around when I did this for my team it was not the cost was over $200 for 5 people. Unfortunately no details on the service fee being $69 on the website which was very misleading. The customer service is terrible, very confusing and takes a long time for a response. One person told me it was $150 total sending an invoice another person told me it was $210, not clear on the costs and I asked multiple times for a breakdown on the costs. I never received one, still have not. Also no one received a confirmation of the order, we had no idea if the pizza was actually arriving or not. We also received a text from DoorDash fake person named Alonso saying our pizza was out for delivery when it had already arrived for 3 people. Poor service overall and very misleading in the costs. The pizzas were not good, very dry and overcooked, I received a can of soda costing $5. We will never use again and I will share my negative experience.

This needs better customer support. My company used Pizzatime for our virtual holiday party at lunch. When my pizza had not arrived by the scheduled time and I had 0 communication from pizzatime, my only option for communication was to reply to the confirmation email of my order. I didn't receive a reply back until 3 hours later stating they had no record of my email (the one they used to confirm my order and I had replied to to communicate with them) and that they wanted to know my email for the account. After I replied there's was no response until after 9pm saying they were trying to find out what happened but couldn't contact the pizza place (I'm sure it was closed) and that they would reach out to me when they find out what happened. That's the last I heard from them. No pizza, no communication or very lack there of...
TL;DR: We do recommend it now, and have used it time and time again. 👍 We've been using Pizzatime for years now and are positively impressed of the great progress they've done improving the service since launch. Now you can predetermine the call tool and use what your team is used to. (We use Whereby) Also you can book entertainment, which we haven't yet tried out but I know I can book it for some time when we may want to spice up things. So all in all I'd definitely recommend anyone with a remote team to use this tool. We're using it with 15 people these days.
Zero user support. We created a wrong date for our party, by mistake. The day before (over 24 hours prior) we sent emails and left voice mails to pizzatime asking them to reschedule since this was plenty of time (even if it wasn't, it would be nice for someone to reach back out to us and help us resolve this). Instead, total and complete silence. Phone calls go into voicemail, emails (we sent 3) are not answered. As a result, we had to cancel our pre-New Year party. Very unprofessional and poor experience.
Pizzatime can organise online pizza party for any remote team, but I can't organise offline pizza party for my in-house team 🤔. Guys, you make me feel there's something wrong with my leadership 😅
Tried this with the rest of the Animalz team and it was a very well-done experience! Pizzas arrived with surprising simultaneity (tip for the driver included) across all our many timezones. Pizza was hot and included extra marinara sauce for dipping. And while chatting on all-hands video conference calls can traditionally be a little awkward because of the time delay and crosstalk, we hopped on a call to eat our pizza together, and it felt like the novelty/strangeness of the experience erased those boundaries. Thanks!
Our team used pizzatime last week for our first ever remote pizza party and it was AWESOME. The setup took very little work from us (just generate a team link through the app and have interested team members sign up). Pizzas magically appeared at each person's doorstep at the time of the party (give or take about 20 minutes for some), and we enjoyed pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner across 5 countries and 7 different timezones. Highly recommended for remote team building! Extra bonus: Each person can decide whether pineapple belongs on pizza (it doesn't) without their order affecting anyone else 🙌
