A privacy-first browser editor that transforms pet photos into animated pixel companions. Create the character online, export apetpack file, and run it directly on Windows.
Love the privacy-first angle and the apetpack export is genuinely clever. One thing though, would be awesome if the exported companions could pull from a small folder of custom sprites you drop into the install directory, so the pixel pet feels a bit more personal than the default set.
The pixel art style is genuinely charming and the local processing means my dog pics never leave the machine, which I really appreciate. Wish the export had a few more sprite options though.
The apetpack export is genuinely cool, my dog now wanders around my desktop while I work. Took a minute to figure out the animation timing but the result was worth it.
