Hi Product Hunt, I built Pix-Cull because my media folders were getting harder and harder to review manually. As a VFX supervisor, I often work with large folders of images, videos, audio references, and AI-generated outputs. Creating more files is easy now, but reviewing them quickly and deciding what to keep is still a slow process. Pix-Cull is a fast media culling app for creators. It lets you open a folder, browse media quickly, mark the best files, and clean up the rest. It is currently available for Mac, and I’m planning a Windows version in the future. I’d love to hear your feedback, especially from creators who deal with large amounts of visual or AI-generated media every day.

Why I built Pix-Cull

Pix-Cull started from a simple problem: we create and collect more media files than ever, but choosing what to keep is still a human decision.

Whether you work with photos, videos, audio notes, references, AI-generated images, test files, or creative outputs, large folders can pile up very quickly.

AI has made creation faster, but it has also made the review process heavier. More versions, more tests, more unused files, more things to compare.

Pix-Cull is built to help people move through that process faster.
