Hey, it's great meet you all! I'm excited to share my latest project with you! It's called Piskeddy, and it's designed to make keeping up with fast-changing projectsโ€”and especially client and stakeholder requestsโ€”a bit less chaotic. Piskeddy = The antidote to project spaghetti ๐Ÿ Yes, I let my kids name it. ๐Ÿ˜† Like many indie makers, I have a day job in the corporate world. And mine involves juggling multiple projects with multiple clients and stakeholders. Every day, I hear things like this: ๐Ÿ“† We need a few more days to review that draft. โณ Can you send me a new timeline? ๐Ÿ“Š I need a status report covering all my projects in flight. ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ We're cancelling three projects and opening five others. While I have access to a big and complex collaboration platform, which is handy for routing work between internal teams, I've been cycling through a variety of tools to track all the milestones my clients and stakeholders care most about. But none of these options does exactly what I want. ๐Ÿค” So I built Piskeddy, the tool I wish I could use at work. I've been testing it on my side projects + simulated projects inspired by my current job. It lets me quickly spin up projects and tasks and map them to clients/stakeholders, automatically calculate task start and end dates while avoiding weekends/holidays, and instantly create pretty timelines and reports that can be screen-captured and dropped into presentations and emails. ๐ŸŽ‰ It also comes with project sharing via email address to allow for basic collaboration and a dashboard highlighting due and overdue tasks. ๐Ÿ”Ž Best of all, Piskeddy is super simple. It's easier to use than a spreadsheet and doesn't require you set up complicated workflows just to generate a basic timeline. โœ… Of course, this is an early-stage product. Right now, it only supports the English language + US holidays/weekend dates. It will be free during the beta period and possibly beyond. Paid tiers, if they are introduced, will likely be tied to usage. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy Piskeddy, and I'm looking forward to seeing your feedback, either as comments or through the feedback/bug report form built into the product. ๐Ÿ™
