@lagaggggggΒ Interesting approach technically, but how stable is this under long sessions or heavy GPU usage? Virtual display tricks on macOS usually start breaking once Spaces, fullscreen apps, HDR, or external monitors get involved.
Also wondering how much latency the mirror introduces compared to native PiP. Does interaction still feel instant when dragging, typing, or watching video streams for a few hours straight?
And one more thing: since the source app keeps rendering forever, what does CPU/RAM usage look like compared to standard screen capture based tools? That part matters more than the feature itself for daily use.

Great questions. From my own daily use it's been pretty stable β no freezes or crashes across long sessions, Spaces, or fullscreen apps. Overhead-wise nothing significant on my end either. Best mental model is: it just behaves as if you'd attached one more display to your Mac, because that's literally what's happening under the hood.
It's totally free right now, so easiest answer is just download it and give it a try β you'll know in 10 minutes whether it holds up for your workflow.
Looks useful, but does it affect Mac performance or battery when multiple windows are pinned?

@faizan_chhipaΒ Performance has been fine in my own usage β even with 2β3 windows pinned the overhead isn't significant. And most of the time I'm only running one pinned window anyway, so the overhead is basically negligible.
Wow, a gamer changer is an understatement. I like how I'm able to pin different tabs and use them actively at the same time. And it doesn't feel complicated at allπ
