What do you think? …

As a long time Pinboard user of 11 years, I got 20,000 bookmarks stored in my account. I've been looking for a modern app for iOS 14 / macOS Big Sur but there's no such thing. Took the matter in my own hands and make Pins. Give it a try!

This looks nice man! Is it native or electron?
Anh Do
@csaba_kissi it’s a native Swift app. Mac version is Catalyst
Min Tran
Nicely done, buddy!

What are some interesting usecases you have seen from early customers?
Anh Do
@jonkim14 Good question. The app is aimed at a niche market where people are already familiar with another web service (Pinboard) and there’re a lot of competing apps (which are no longer updated), so most people know exactly what’s missing from their current app and go look for them in any potential new app. Most popular use case so far is a way to quickly create bookmarks.

Slick! I just downloaded it. Are you open to putting in a time-limited trial for the IAP? I see myself buying it but it’d be nice to try the features out first.
Anh Do
@jonzhan Thanks Jonathan! The app is free to try with certain feature limitations (gated access to past bookmarks and delay to saving new ones). Other than that, everything works.

Great to see new activity around pinboard, other apps are getting long in the tooth. Had to restart phone to start seeing Pins in the Share Sheet but that’s a minor nitpick.
Anh Do
@erik_van_eykelen It's a weird quirk of the OS and outside my control unfortunately.
