Pinland: Your files and AI tasks, tucked into your Mac's notch

Hey Product Hunt! I'm the maker of Pinland.

The idea was simple: my MacBook's notch was just sitting there. Why not give the things I keep reaching for a home inside it?

I started with reference images, links, files, and little bits of text I copy again and again. Pinland keeps them in a shelf that opens when I need it and tucks away when I don't. Search and color tags came later, once my own collection got harder to navigate.

Here's what you can do today:
• Pin text, images, links, files, and entire folders.
• Preview, copy, and edit text without leaving the shelf.
• Drag files and folders in, then drag them back out into Finder or compatible apps. Your pins stay on the shelf for next time.
• Find what you need with instant search and color tags.

Then I started using Codex more, and kept checking: Is it still working? Is it finished? Is it waiting for me?

So I brought those tasks into Pinland too. With the optional integration set up, I can glance at recent messages and progress, send follow-ups, and handle supported approval requests from the notch. Pinland can alert me when a task finishes or needs attention. Claude Code is supported too.

Pins stay on your Mac, and no Pinland account is needed. The AI integrations are optional and require their corresponding tools and setup.
