Hey Product Hunt 👋
This is my first app, built solo, and it exists because my todo list was never the problem. Procrastination was. 😅 The things that mattered most were the easiest to push to tomorrow, and nothing on my phone actually cared whether I did them. One thing always worked though: telling another person I would do it.
So PinkyPact is exactly that, and nothing else. 🤙 You give one person a promise with a deadline. Miss it, and the nagging starts: a push every 30 minutes, plus a screen you cannot dismiss until it is resolved. ⏰ There is no auto-confirm anywhere. Only the other person can mark it as kept, and they can send it back with a comment if you tried to sneak one past them. 👀
A few deliberate choices:
🚫 No signup. No email, no account, no profile. You open it and it works.
👥 Two people only. No groups, no feed, no social layer. Accountability stops working when it is diluted.
💛 Free forever for one open promise. Plus raises the cap, and it is couple-wide, so whoever pays, both of you get it. Charging the partner who was invited felt like taxing the person doing you a favor.
Fair warning: it takes two to try it, so grab whoever already knows what you keep postponing. 😄
I would love to hear where the nagging is too much or not enough. That balance is the whole product, and so far I have only calibrated it on myself. 🙏
