Hey Product Hunt, I'm ZhugeZ, an indie developer behind Pingloom.
I've always liked how ping wheels work in League of Legends. Hold a key, flick your mouse, and you're done. I wanted to bring that same interaction to the desktop, so I started building Pingloom.
What is Pingloom?
It's a free, open-source desktop app that lets you display tactical pings and animated emotes using simple mouse gestures.
You can customize the wheel, change shortcuts, switch themes, and import your own emotes.
I built the core in Rust to handle input and render overlays natively. The settings interface uses Tauri and Svelte. Everything runs independently of the game client, without injecting into game processes.
Where things stand
Pingloom is currently at v0.1.0. Windows 11 is the main supported platform, with experimental macOS support and a NixOS/niri edition.
There's still a lot to improve, but I wanted to share what I've built rather than keep polishing it forever.

I'd really appreciate feedback, especially on the gesture controls, customization options, and overall experience.
If you give it a try and something doesn't work as expected, I'd love to hear about that too.
Thanks for checking it out!
