Looks nice. Just trying to understand the difference with this and just using the default SMS and sending the emojis. They show up the same way. nnI understand the Yo craze, but the benefit of Yo is I can send a Yo in 2 taps. This app you still have to select the users name and type out the emoji just like composing an SMS. nnNot trying to put it down, just would like to understand why I should download it and make all my friends download it also. :)

@robinraszka It really depends on who you are talking to. Me and my girlfriend emoji all day on iMessage and I emoji with lots of my friends as well. To me emoji is the core experience of my text messages. Please do not take my comment in the wrong way in any shape or form, but maybe it can give you some ideas to add some features to Ping to make it unique to Ping only. As always best of luck with the app! :)

Another app to add to the Emoji Collection. 😃

I don't think there's a reason to use this app.

I had a similar idea that I am planning to work on as a side project, but focused on ONE simple emoji, rather than just one. I like the simplicity of just sending an emoji or two to your friend, just to let them know you're thinking of them.
I really really like the UI design, but I tried to "Add from address book" it didn't let me pick a friend to invite. I'm a little worried it spammed everyone.
