Hola! Update 1: for those of you wondering, we pull investment data from 5 sources: WeFunder, StartEngine, SeedInvest, MicroVentures, and Republic. We hope to get more proprietary dealflow in the future. Connor and I made Pinetree to democratize angel investing. We believe that anyone should be able to invest in early-stage startup companies... Not just VC's or people with substantial wealth. How does it work? Once you subscribe, we create an Airtable instance of all of the companies. You can sort through 1,000+ companies currently raising money on crowdfunding campaigns. Filter by deal size, company vertical, number of investors, etc. Invest when you're ready. How much money can you make through angel investing? A lot. Sure, most startups will fail. The overwhelming majority do. Especially at the early stage. However, with some people diligence + good judgement + multiple investments, you will be off to the races. What companies should I invest in? That's up to you. We are just providing the data. We plan to do a live investment session to give you an example of how to use the tool, soon. Fun fact: we built this tool in roughly 3 weeks. Another fun fact: this is not investment or legal advice. Use your own judgement. :D Note: available to U.S. citizens only, at the moment. AMA below!
