PilatesNote is a free iPhone app built only for Pilates instructors. Every client gets a profile with goals, injuries and cautions, attached to a running log of sessions, plans and outcomes. Apparatus, exercises and spring settings are built in, so you're not typing them from scratch. Studio software tracks bookings and payments. PilatesNote remembers the client, which is the part that makes a session feel tailor-made.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I teach Pilates, and for a long time my client notes lived in three places: a paper notebook, my phone's Notes app, and my memory. The memory part failed most often. You have 10+ clients, you see them every week or two, and thirty seconds before someone walks in you're trying to recall which spring setting worked for their shoulder.
Studio software never solved this (and I don't think they will have to). Mindbody and the rest are built for the business: bookings, packages, payments. Nothing in them remembers that Sarah's disc flares in flexion, or that her goal is picking up her grandson without her back seizing.
So we built PilatesNote. Every client has a profile with their goals, cautions and history, attached to a log of every session. Apparatus, exercises and spring settings are built in because it's only for Pilates. It's free, and it doesn't try to do bookings or payments, so it works alongside whatever scheduler you already use.
If you teach Pilates, I'd love to know how you keep your client notes right now, and what your system still doesn't do. That's what we build next.
