What do you think? …

How i cant try before buy?
Joseph Callaars
@douglasevaristo I will supply a trial once the app is released, but since it's an early release version I didn't bother creating one. You can however buy it and request a refund within 14 days if you don't like it.

Hi! I'm the creator of Pica Pica, and I would be more than happy to answer any questions if necessary! Pica Pica is still in the early release phase, but it's stable and usable.

@bcallaars Great UI/UX. Electron?

@bcallaars Is the "API may not be production-ready" warning a cya or are there specific instances of fail?
Joseph Callaars
@kkdub In all honesty it's more to the point of: I literally haven't used it in a production environment yet, and although I know it's robust, it's also still in its early stages. The more I work on it, the more I'm going to be confident about it and remove that in due course.
AJ Ben Dor
Cool idea, can you give us examples of APIs built with Pica Pica? @bcallaars
Joseph Callaars
@paladinint Since it's still in its early stages, I've only been using it myself personally and some small group of people. For me currently I'm building a recipe manager with it. The more I work with it personally, the more things I see I want to have in as well. Ha! :D

Nice Joseph.

@avadhbsd Thanks, appreciate it!

I assume it will export a source code to Docker. Which technology is it? NodeJs? Ruby? Python? PHP? In the future you might want to add docs using OpenAPI Specification (Swagger)
Joseph Callaars
@orask YES! There is Swagger documentation, but it's generated *in* your API, so that is already there when you start it. The tech set up is Node.js LTS with a SQLite database. You can just pull the source code out of the Docker container if you like, but in due course I will make it easier to customize it without anyone having to fiddle around in it. Not sure how to do that yet, but I'll come up with something!

I was once walking on a dirt road in Guatemala. I saw a small animal run into a pile of cut-down branches. Anxious to see the critter, I started pulling away branches. Eventually I uncovered an enormous iguana. But within minutes, my entire body was burning and itching. It was unbearable. I kept walking and eventually found a local villager, who I asked about the burning. "Those branches," he said, "that's the pica pica. We cut it down before it blows into the village."
Joseph Callaars
@dustinlocke Hahaha. Love it!

This is something my designer can use to prtotype basic a API's himself. This is awesome!
Joseph Callaars
@likalo_llc That's literally why I made it!
