I’ve always been fascinated by both mathematics and technology, and this app started from my curiosity about how fast my iPhone could calculate Pi to millions of digits. I noticed there were no apps that allowed users to run a meaningful Pi computation benchmark on their devices, so I decided to build one myself.
While working on this app, I wanted to combine the power of math with the technical challenge of optimizing for Apple hardware. The result is a fast, efficient Pi calculator that doubles as a device benchmark. I hope it can help others measure their device’s performance in a fun and meaningful way.
I’m excited to hear your thoughts—feel free to ask any questions or share feedback! Let’s see how fast your devices can compute Pi! 🚀

Thanks for the support everyone! 🚀 I’m excited to announce that Pi Calculator v2.1 is now in review and coming soon with some major updates:
New Features in v2.1:
Stress Test Mode: Run repeated Pi calculations to detect thermal throttling and performance degradation, with a bar chart trend analysis to visualize your device’s limits. Perfect for performance enthusiasts! 📊
Expanded Free Tier: Now you can compute up to 1 million digits for free, giving everyone a taste of the app’s full potential. 🎉
Smoother Progress Bar: We’ve updated the progress bar with timer-based animation for a smoother experience while waiting for your results.
Improved Share Card: The share card now displays digits correctly for large calculations, so you can share your achievements without any issues.
UI Refinements: The app’s interface has been updated with icon-only header buttons, an equal-width action bar, and optimized layouts for better support across all screen sizes.
Developer Website: A new Developer Website link has been added to the About page, for those interested in learning more.
Free Trial Opportunity: If you’d like to try out the new Pro features (like the Stress Test Mode and unlimited digits) for free, feel free to DM me!
I hope you’ll find these improvements useful! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated. Feel free to let me know your thoughts or share how the new features work on your device! 💬
