Open-source, cross-platform (Linux and Windows) PHP RCE mitigation agent and HTTP WAF. Blocks php2shell session.upload_progress use-after-free exploits (CVE-2026-109618, CVE-2026-109619), session file poisoning, serialized handler mismatch, worker pinning/ASLR bypass, SAPI OOM bailout and PHP-CGI argument injection (CVE-2024-4577).

The recently disclosed PHP2Shell vulnerability chain: abusing session.upload_progress and Zend memory allocator bailouts presents a serious remote code execution threat across unpatched PHP environments.
While the definitive fix is straightforward upgrade PHP immediately; real-world enterprise infrastructure is rarely that simple. Upgrading runtime versions across large legacy fleets or production systems often requires regression testing, dependency validation, and scheduled maintenance windows.
To help teams buy critical breathing room, I built and open-sourced PHP2Shell Sentinel: a lightweight, autonomous security agent written in Go as single binary.
⚠️ Crucial Disclaimer: Defense-in-Depth, Not a Magic Cure
Let’s be direct: This agent is NOT a replacement for patching PHP.
Patching the runtime upstream remains the absolute primary defense. Think of PHP2Shell Sentinel as an out-of-band virtual patch and containment stopgap while your team prepares upgrades.
For maximum resilience, use a layered defense:
Edge: Cloudflare’s recently deployed WAF rules for PHP2Shell (blocks malicious multipart payloads before they touch your server).
Host / Kernel: PHP2Shell Sentinel (monitors, clamps memory spikes, and blocks unauthorized syscalls).
Core: Upstream PHP updates (the permanent solution).
