As a photographer, Photoshop has always been one of my favorite tools. It gives me so many powerful features and fine details that help turn a good photo into something with more value and character.
What I love most is how flexible it is. There are endless ways to enhance, refine, and experiment with an image. It’s incredibly helpful, but at the same time it challenges my creativity. I always try to balance editing with authenticity, because for me, a photo that is edited too much can lose its soul.
Photoshop gives me the power to enhance a photo without losing the story behind it , and that’s what makes it fantastic.
I feel like that I from an ancient generation now, I have been using Adobe softwares since Photoshop CS2 launched. It has become second nature, there was dip in their focus, but I think lately, some of AI tech has made my life so much easier. Can't even begin to describe the hours saved in retouching and masking cause of AI.
The brush engine in Photoshop is one of the most robust I've ever encountered. The ability to customize brushes down to the finest detail, or to import and create my own, gives me an incredible amount of creative flexibility. I can simulate a wide variety of traditional media effects, which is something that other digital design tools often fall short on.
Layer management in Photoshop is also exceptional. With blending modes, layer styles, and adjustment layers, I have endless possibilities to manipulate and tweak my illustrations. It enables me to experiment without the fear of making irreversible changes.
I use it since 2006. It's always been the best program. No other program had so many image processing capabilities. For processing, I read books by Dan Margulies, and then processing was very important. Today, of course, there are a lot of programs with ai, and the capabilities of cameras have grown a lot, but photoshop is forever in my heart and number 1 in my processing!
Their subscription plan is absolutely rip off. I hate all subscription plan models and for this very reason I hate Adobe and all their products. Photoshop has become absolutely slow on even the most powerful personal computers. Takes ages just to launch and if you edit any large image it runs out of memory. I had to finally dump Adobe and use other tools.
I have been using Photoshop for several years and I am always impressed with its capabilities. It is constantly being updated with new features and improvements, and I have never found a task that it cannot handle. It offers a wide range of features for editing, retouching, and enhancing images, as well as for creating graphics and illustrations.
