People keep asking why they need AI feedback when they have friends or Reddit, but the honest answer is that sometimes you just aren't ready for the public execution yet.
You can’t show a raw experiment to a paying client and your friends are usually too nice to tell you the truth.
I built PhotoMentor to be a private darkroom. A safe space. You can upload some absolute garbage at 3 AM, get a brutal critique, fix the levels, and loop that process ten times without anyone judging your pixels. Don't even start with ChatGPT because those generic models are infected with toxic positivity and hallucinate wildly, like the time one told me to catch the "golden hour" while I was locked in a windowless studio, which is just embarrassing.
We didn't just ship a lazy wrapper but actually orchestrated a multi-model stack with Gemini 3 Pro and Flash that understands the physics of light enough to know if that grain is an aesthetic choice or just you messing up your ISO settings. Legit.
