Why we built this Launcher We all always loved customising our phone, but most launchers we tried were either too bloated or too restrictive. They came packed with features I didn’t care about, or made simple things overly complicated.
We just wanted a clean, fast, minimal home screen—something we could tweak to my liking without it turning into a full-time job.
So we built it.
What It Does This is a minimal, customisable Android launcher that focuses on simplicity and control. No clutter. No distractions. Just a clean space that you can shape the way you want.
Key Features: Minimal UI – Just your apps, organized how you like. Customizable grid, icon size, spacing – Make it yours. Hide apps / Focus mode – Keep things clean and distraction-free. Icon pack support – Use your favorite style. Fast and lightweight – No bloat, no background junk. Privacy-respecting – No data collection, no tracking. Light/Dark/AMOLED themes – Looks good with any wallpaper.
Who It’s For Anyone who wants a clean, distraction-free home screen. People who care about performance and privacy. Customisation lovers who don’t want to deal with clutter.

I've tried out many launchers from the feature-packed Nova and it's kind to the more minimal launchers such as Niagara, Olauncher, and uLauncher. Over time, I've increasingly gravitated towards the more minimal launchers to avoid clutter & distraction and increase focus. So when I noticed a new launcher so I'm beta testing called Phocus, I decided to give it a try. The main dev created it to satisfy their needs, and it's worked very well for me. It's been a lot of fun interacting with a small community of like-minded people in the launcher's early days, seeing what features people want or don't want and how the dev embraces or rejects feature requests for a good balance of minimalism and customization while avoiding scope creep. It's my main launcher right now, and I'm very excited to see how it evolves!
