Phare C1 is a smoke alarm that sounds for actual emergencies and nothing else. Its multi-sensor array spots fire and CO early and accurately, reduces false alarms, and is backed by detection algorithms that learn and improve to make your home even safer over time. It keeps much-loved features from the Nest Protect (RIP) like early warnings, a night light, and in-app alerts, and adds new ones like air quality monitoring and intruder detection.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
Daniel here. I’m the co-founder and CEO of Phare Labs, and I’m excited to share what we’ve been working on with you:
The problem we’re solving is simple: smoke alarms fail to respond to 28% of fatal home fires. However, 9 out of 10 alarms they do raise are false positives. They go off when there isn’t fire, and they don’t when there is.
Arnau and I started Phare Labs to change that and build something we could actually trust our lives to.
Our solution is Phare C1. In essence, it’s a smoke alarm that works. It uses a multi-sensor array to detect fires earlier and eliminate false alarms. It also learns and improves over time to make your home even safer in a decade than it is on the day you install it.
We kept features from the Nest Protect that everyone loved like night path lighting and early warnings, added new ones like air quality monitoring, intruder detection, and 4G connectivity, and wrapped it in a design that won a Red Dot award this year.
