Phantom Chat is an end-to-end encrypted iOS messenger built around anonymity. Sign up with just a username — no phone, no email. Invite-code-only contact discovery. NIST post-quantum encryption baked in. Solo-built. iOS 17+.

Do you collect any user data?
No. We don't ask for or store a phone number, email, real name, or location. We run no analytics, ads, or behavioural tracking, and we never see your message content. To deliver messages, our database stores basic routing information every messenger needs — which accounts share a conversation, and message timestamps — which we never sell or profile. Push notifications strip all content; only an opaque wake signal reaches Apple's servers. Beyond that, we hold only your username, an opaque push token, and your subscription status.

The product is built around a single commitment that won't change: your messages, your contacts, and your activity are not the product. We can't read what you send. We don't profile what we can see. We don't sell, share, or rent any of it.
The goal is simple: to build the most secure messenger in the world, by someone who isn't being paid to look the other way. Privacy isn't a feature here. It's the entire reason this exists, and it's the one thing that will never change.
