PostgreSQL monitoring that runs entirely on your hardware: 12+ health checks (bloat, autovacuum lag, XID wraparound, replication slots, slow queries) over read-only connections. No cloud, no telemetry, no account. Pro adds a local AI that writes SQL from English.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jerry, a PostgreSQL and Oracle DBA, and I built pginsights.
Why: I wanted a low-cost alternative to pganalyze and Datadog. The contracts I support usually won't pay those prices for large environments. pginsights also keeps your data local, so it never goes to the cloud the way it does with pganalyze's hosted service.
What it does: pginsights is a self-hosted Postgres monitoring app that runs on your own machine. Slow queries, dead tuples and bloat, an index advisor, vacuum and wraparound tracking, replication, live activity, and SQL Author, which turns plain English into copy-paste Postgres SQL, all in one dashboard. Nothing leaves your network, and there's no telemetry.
Pricing: Base is free. Pro is $249 for a 12-month license, with no per-server monthly fees.
What I'd love to hear: Have you run into the same thing? Do you have a reasonably priced dashboard that does English-to-SQL and index advice without your data leaving your environment?
I'll be here all day to answer questions. Thanks for checking it out!
