This launch’s requests, discussion, and shipping points are preserved as a read-only archive.
the frame-comment editing model is the part that stands out to me - most AI video tools still make you rewrite the whole prompt and hope the regeneration keeps everything else intact. pointing at a specific frame and saying what's wrong with it is a much closer match to how people already give feedback on a cut. curious how far that goes though - can you comment on just the audio/voiceover of a scene without touching the visuals, or does every edit regenerate the whole clip?
@galdayan Yep—you can change music or off-screen voiceover without regenerating the visuals, though changing a talking character’s dialogue may also need a lip-sync update.
@stellylin good to know that split exists. when the lip-sync update kicks in, is it re-rendering just the mouth/jaw region on top of the existing frame, or does it redo the whole shot and the "no visual regeneration" promise only really holds for the music/voiceover case
Congrats on launch, Evan — the handoff from rough product capture to a coherent story is the hard part, and the comment-and-circle editing model sounds especially useful. One small tip that’s helped me with launch videos: cut the first pass to the user’s “aha” moment, then add context only where it removes doubt. Hope launch day treats you well!
@michaelh_rley Thanks for the tip—leading with that “aha” moment makes a lot of sense, especially when you’ve only got a few seconds to hook someone!
Got another “do you have a demo?” message. For once, I could just send the video.
@tanjum Love that—now you’ve got a demo ready whenever someone asks 🙌
Congrats on the launch, Evan and team! The conversational edit flow looks genuinely useful.
@karimbenkeroum Thanks so much—we wanted giving feedback to feel as easy as messaging a teammate!
