You are totally right, while our Lost & Found system provides critical peace of mind for emergencies, the feature that will make the biggest everyday difference is definitely our Local Community Playdates & Dog Park Check-ins.
Instead of dog parents having to constantly coordinate through messy WhatsApp chats or guessing if the local dog park is full, PetArk lets them see in real-time who is at the park and schedule neighborhood meetups instantly. It turns daily walks into a fun, social experience for both the dogs and their owners.

AI assistant sounds awesome, but how can I make sure it doesn't hallucinate?
@yaniv_yacoel Great question, Yaniv! Pet safety is our absolute top priority, especially when it comes to health and nutrition advice.
To prevent hallucinations, our AI assistant doesn’t just guess answers from the open web. We use advanced prompt engineering with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to anchor the AI's responses strictly within a highly curated, professional veterinary knowledge base.
Our data layer is built directly upon top-tier, trusted medical sources including the ASPCA Animal Poison Control, Merck Veterinary Manual, WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association), AAHA, and AVMA. All materials are properly chunked, indexed, and embedded to ensure high factual precision.
Additionally, the system is explicitly trained to recognize its limits if a question falls into a high-risk medical category or requires urgent clinical diagnosis, the AI will immediately flag it and advise the owner to consult a professional vet in person. It’s designed to be a helpful daily wellness companion, not a replacement for medical experts.
